The leader of 'Albania Becomes', Adriatik Lapaj, has reacted after the KAS decision that removed the mandate from Adriatik Lapaj's "sister", Kleana Xhuveli, and gave it to Ana Dajko, who was ranked first on the closed list in the Nisma Albania Becomes coalition.
Lapaj demanded that the mandate won on May 11 by the coalition he led be passed to him.
Through a reaction on Facebook, Lapaj calls the KAS decision a double standard, bringing to attention the practice followed by the PSD where the mandate was passed to candidates on the open list after the resignations of the closed list.
"So, the PSD's resignations are accepted and the mandate is transferred to the open list. Not to us! A different law applies to us because we are the Gulag."
"I am so proud to fight for open competition! The day we are looking for will come. One day this country will have competition," says Lapaj.
