In a public appearance, Martin Giese, spokesman for the German Foreign Ministry, was asked by Deutsche Welle about the ongoing protests taking place in Tirana.

Specifically, Martin Giese was asked if the German government is in contact with the protesters in Albania? If Berlin knows what the protesters themselves are demanding and what it expects from Edi Rama's government in relation to the protests?
