The hearing on the Gërdec case has been postponed. It is learned that the next session will be held on May 2 at 10:00.

Defense lawyers and the former Minister of Defense, Fatmir Mediu, have opposed the evidence of the prosecution.

Meanwhile, the USA has brought answers to the letters of inquiry on the questions of some witnesses, but the judicial authorities have stated that the questioning of these persons cannot be done by the court, but only by FBI agents.

The former Minister of Defense requested a re-examination of the explosion that occurred in Gërdec on March 15, 2008.

The media says that the cause must be discovered and that it has never ignored the opinion of military and civilian experts.

" We will go to the truth until the end. I have done my duty. There was no military opinion that I did not appreciate. I have never ignored the opinion of military or civilian experts", said Mediu.

'For us, the Gërdec event is not accidental. For us, we add the probability of an intent ' says Mediu's lawyer, Adrian Visha.
