The Democratic Party managed to obtain mandates for the Assembly in only 6 regions and from only one candidate from the open lists in the May 11 parliamentary elections.
The only counties where the Democrats have gone beyond the closed list are Tirana, Durrës, Shkodra, Korça, Lezha and Kukës, without ruling out any surprises that may come from diaspora votes.
In Tirana, it seems that the only mandate from the open list will go to Jorida Tabaku , who currently has a difference of 1,000 votes from Ilir Alimehmeti, even though not all the ballot boxes have been counted.
In Durrës , the most voted candidate from the open list is former prosecutor Arian Ndoja with 8125 personal votes, who will take the mandate. He is followed in the coastal district by Aulon Kalaja with 7057 votes and Andia Ulliri with 5174 votes.
In Shkodra , the most voted candidate from the open list to become a deputy is Bardh Spahia , who managed to receive 9,414 votes, followed by Ted Kopliku with 6,148 votes.
In Korça , the most voted candidate from the open list is Fidel Kreka with 6,523 personal votes, who is expected to enter the Assembly, while he is followed by Kristiano Koçibelli with 5,213 votes.
In Lezha , the most voted candidate from the open list and who will receive the mandate of deputy is Gjin Gjoni with 8873 personal votes, while after him, the most voted by the Democrats in this district is Kastriot Piroli with 5632 votes.
In Kukës , the most voted candidate from the open list is Shkëlqim Shehu with 7493 votes, who, if there are no surprises from the diaspora votes, is expected to receive the mandate of MP.
This is because he has a close deference to Isuf Çelaj, who received 7,060 personal votes.
