The former deputy prime minister on the run and wanted by SPAK, Arben Ahmetaj , has lost his deputy's mandate and the Assembly of Albania has notified the CEC of the vacancy.

In the letter sent to the CEC, the Assembly says that Ahmetaj's mandate is terminated due to his absence without reason for 6 months.

The last time when the former deputy prime minister, Arben Ahmetaj , was in the Assembly was July 6, 2023 .

According to the results of the last parliamentary elections, Ahmetaj's mandate is taken by Dallandyshe Bici, currently the Director of Cadastre.

Sources for VoxNews said that the director of the Cadastre, Dallandyshe Bici, has refused and will not accept the deputy's mandate.

In this case, the deputy's mandate passes to the lawyer, Plarent Ndreca , the latter received 4008 personal votes in the parliamentary elections./ VoxNews
