A debate with tones of irony took place in the Parliament between the deputies of Vlora, the Democrat Bujar Leskaj and the Socialist Briseida Çakërri.
During his speech in the Assembly, Bujar Leskaj called the public administration patronizing, abusive and without meritocracy. However, the Democrat MP positively assessed the director of the Legislative Service in the Assembly, Merita Qato.
"Almost 1/3 of the administration is unprofessional, patronizing, political, appointments are not based on merit, but political, it acts abusively and selectively on the public interest. A special thank you to a senior administration official, Merita Qaton, for her service, dedication, passion, and honesty. Such examples of officials are needed in the administration," said Leskaj.
After this statement by Leskaj, SP MP Briseida Çakërri ironized the statement of the Democratic legislator, saying that she has a greeting for the patronageists, who, according to her, should be added to the DP.
"Since you closed with a greeting, I'm starting my speech with a greeting to the patronageists: Join the SP!", she said.
