Chief Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi was also present, who told reporters that electronic voting and counting guarantee 100% secrecy of the vote and that there is no mechanism for anyone to verify the vote given by a voter for a certain subject.
Celibashi added that anyone who says otherwise is making political speculations. In the three municipalities where it will be applied, Elbasan, Vorë and Kamëz, according to Celibashi, the result is expected to come out within 30 minutes.
From a formal point of view , we are fulfilling an obligation of the electoral choir, today we have the turn of the voting equipment and the electronic counting tomorrow will be the testing of the electronic identification equipment. The full guarantee that these devices offer regarding the secrecy of the vote.
There is no possible way or mechanism for anyone to verify the vote cast by a voter for a particular entity.
We have had, not at all officially, but some such concerns that have been forwarded to the Election Commission regarding the secrecy of the vote, I am here to confirm that the guarantee is 100% complete. Anyone who says otherwise is a political speculator.
There is no possibility, neither the company nor the CEC, no one has the possibility to verify who was voted for categorically. We aim to announce the preliminary results for Vora, Kamza and Elbasan within 30 minutes from the moment the voting process closes.
It is a pilot project, but from what we estimate, I believe that all procedures will take some time from the moment when the voting process is closed ,' said Celibashi.
