Edi Rama sought the vote of Albanian immigrants in the May 11 elections to save justice, as he said, from the swamp owl, the term with which he identifies the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.

From the meeting with the diaspora in Milan, Rama called for a vote to continue so that the sword that the Socialist Party, according to him, gave to independent justice can continue to cut and become even stronger.

"Albania today is different from what it was when we took office in every aspect except for the swamp of the opposition and the media around it, which are even worse today than then. There is no doubt that Albania today will not be the same, it will be much different from Albania 2030 in the EU. It will be a new Albania, a member state of a large family. We gave justice the sword for the first time. Never in Albania has there been independent justice, never has anyone connected to political power been seen going before an investigator and an independent judge, we must guarantee it by entering Albania into the EU where the new and independent justice will be strengthened and will remain independent. The people must take it into their own hands and defend with their own strength and with the vote of May 11, the freedom and independence of justice that we are building", said the Prime Minister.

He then accused his rivals, whom he refers to as a pond or swamp, of taking innocent lives, so he demanded that they be presented with Noc Rroku on May 12th.

"They are the swamps that have never let justice have its turn. That swamp has managed to take innocent lives and today they want to return again, because the owl will return for its own sake. That is why I want you to understand me and believe me so that as many Albanians as possible receive this message. It is not about our power in itself, because here it is not about getting one more vote than the swamps. This is about giving Albania the objective at the top of the negotiations and Albania 2030 to take the status and guarantee it definitively, guarantee it as a birthright of every girl or boy. Equality before the law. That we can all protect justice from the owls and mosquitoes who swear that on May 12 they will dissolve SPAK. The truth is, on May 12 they will be presented with Noc Rroku. Only in this way can we close the negotiations," declared Rama.

He further promised that Albania 2030 will have significant growth in gross national product, per capita income and average wage.

"With entry into the EU, our opportunities as a state, as a government, in the budget will be very large to support people, where everyone will receive a European passport," he emphasized.
