Berisha: Every vote must be counted responsibly!

In a statement to the media a few minutes after the end of the voting process, Sali Berisha greeted the citizens who, according to him, turned out en masse in the elections to oppose the regime of Edi Rama.

The former prime minister thanked the commissioners who, according to him, performed their duties responsibly and asked them to continue the work and the counting process in the same way, despite the threats they have had.

According to Berisha, the majority is trying to spread news that the turnout was low, but this is not true.

" These elections took place in the most extraordinary conditions. The citizens spoke in a manner with courage and determination. They overcame conglomerates, mafia administration, oligarchs and criminal gangs. The courage, determination, responsibility of the citizens today was epic.

The participation was not what the desperate want to reduce, those who did everything against this process, but a participation among the most worthy of the citizens from the 4 corners of the country. I have the highest appreciation and gratitude for all the young men and women who stood at the head of responsibility in the voting commissions and faced the most unacceptable pressures and threats, but performed an important task with honor before the Albanians.

In peacetime this is duty upon duty. I call on them to count every vote with the responsibility they showed during the day, with the courage they faced the fierce pressures of the state mafia of gangs.

I guarantee the citizens that their vote will weigh more than ever, that this battle is historic and this battle will be won only by those who defend the cause of free and fair elections", said Sali Berisha .
