Sali Berisha and Donald Lu

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has revealed tonight a spicy backstage. He said that the former US ambassador to Tirana, Donald Lu, proposed to take the Democratic Party from Lulzim Basha.

Berisha said on the show "The Unexposed" that Lu sent people to the office to convey this proposal, but he categorically rejected it.

"When I was asked to take the Democratic Party from Basha, I refused. 3-4 years ago, not even in a thousandth of a second did not cross my mind.

Donald Lu sent me persons to the office. The conversation with him was friendly, but the person directly came to me from Donald Lu. It never occurred to me for a hundredth of a second for me to hear that advice. I'm not the one to move that way. "Everyone has their own formation and attitudes", revealed Berisha.
