Sali Berisha has stated that one of the priorities in the DP program is strong support for the custom business, by offering compensation for losses from the fall of the euro and the reduction in energy prices.

During a meeting with representatives of this business, Berisha emphasized the commitment to creating a favorable climate for business and to stimulate production in the country, while saying that a "fiscal revolution" will take place that will transform the business environment in Albania.

He promised that if the DP comes to power, it will set optimal and friendly standards for entrepreneurs, guaranteeing direct support for those involved in exports.

One of the main measures Berisha highlighted was full compensation for the fall of the euro, a major concern for businesses engaged in exports, he said. He explained that a special board would guarantee compensation for any losses caused by the exchange rate change, providing important support for those producing for international markets.

Another important measure that Berisha promised was to reduce the price of energy for businesses. He said that under the DP government, the price will be reduced from 18 lek per kilowatt-hour to just 6 lek, making energy more affordable for entrepreneurs and contributing to improving the conditions for the development of the industry.

Berisha noted that the fall of the euro has had a major impact on the Albanian economy, putting a heavy burden on businesses. He also mentioned the massive emigration of young people, which he said is a problem that has led to a drastic decrease in the birth rate and a loss of the young workforce.

To address this problem, Berisha said that a demographic policy will be created that will encourage the birth of a third child, providing financial and social support to families.

In conclusion, Berisha stressed that his priority will be “production,” which is the foundation of economic development. He promised that the DP in government will do everything to support production and create conditions that will help increase employment and improve living conditions for Albanian citizens.

According to Berisha, support for businesses and the creation of a more favorable environment for production are key steps to ensure the sustainable development of the Albanian economy.
