Prime Minister Rama reacted through a post on Facebook , a few minutes after the opposition leader, Sali Berisha , announced that he would organize a protest on May 16, to oppose the election results, on the day when the European Political Community Summit will be held in Tirana .

"On May 16, all of them will gather from all four corners of Europe in your square, O King, and we, your great-grandchildren, will all be proud of the name of our Albania, which will be pronounced in all the languages ​​of the world," Rama writes on Facebook.

So far, the Prime Minister has not held any press conferences to comment on the election results, saying that he will wait for their conclusion.

According to preliminary results, the Socialist Party has secured its fourth governing mandate, with a full 82 MPs, while the DP appears to have secured only 52 seats in Parliament.
