Berisha leaves SPAK and reveals Rama's "order": All BKH agents
Sali Berisha

Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha, after leaving the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution Office (SPAK), alluded that the outgoing head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, had gathered BKH agents and was communicating Edi Rama's order, according to him, to disarm the agents of the National Bureau of Investigation.

Referring to Prime Minister Rama's statement the day before that BKH agents had gone to the prime minister's building, Berisha said that Rama kept the search secret for more than 20 days.

"If you ask to enter that building, they won't let you in because a very special meeting was taking place. Altin Troplini had gathered the BKH and read them Edi Rama's last order.  All BKH agents will be disarmed and armed with wooden batons. There will be no more real batons, because they terrified our prime minister. And he had kept it secret for 20 or so days. The BKH agents' visit to the prime minister with batons, Rama, terrified, kept it secret for 20 or so days and released it the day after the decision of the Constitutional Court. The unconstitutional, illegal, shameful decision, unprecedented in the history of Europe and the world for a country with a legal state", declared Sali Berisha.

Berisha further stated that the Court of Appeal's decision to reinstate Balluku encouraged Edi Rama.

"Look why he spoke yesterday?! He spoke yesterday because after the decision of the CC, absolutely every possibility of the investigation institution to investigate the minister is closed. He received full guarantees for this, because in case there is no suspension of immunity and arrest, he will never allow it, as he did not allow it in the case of Saimir Tahiri. The measure that was left in their hands was suspension. After the CC leadership blocked such a measure to the letter, an act like this has never happened. But I am convinced that Albanian citizens will gather in Tirana on December 22 to give the most deserved answer ," Berisha said.
