The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, has called a meeting of the Presidency of this political force in the hours of this evening.

The meeting of the Presidency of the DP is scheduled for today at 20:00, while it remains unclear which deputies have confirmed their participation.

This meeting comes a day after the National Assembly of the DP, which approved some changes in the party's statute. According to the changes made during the period when the DP was an opposition party, its leader, in this case Lulzim Basha, will also be the leader of the Parliamentary Group.

Also today, MP Gazment Bardhi has called a meeting with all DP MPs, such as those from Berisha and Basha, to try to unite them.

The first plenary session of the Parliament for the new session starts tomorrow.
