Mundësia party MP Erald Kapri addressed Prime Minister Edi Rama, who is present in the Assembly, with the question of whether he will dismiss Belinda Balluku from the post of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy as she has been accused by SPAK. He recalled the statement made by the Prime Minister that the SP and the government will not become a shield for any official who faces justice.
"It is a significant day that the Prime Minister has come to the hall, as he comes once every 6 months. Mr. Prime Minister, you did well to come, but the essence of everything that has to do with the budget and the priority that you have set is the fight against corruption. Yesterday you were at an enlargement summit in Brussels and I am curious how you explain to your European partners the fight against corruption when your deputies, one after another, are accused of corruption by SPAK. My question is public to all Albanians, you said that the Socialist Party and the government do not become a shield for any high-ranking official. Who is accused by SPAK, will you dismiss or not," said Kapri.
