The Embassy of the United States in Tirana has condemned the attacks of the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, against SPAK as well as against the head of the Special Prosecutor's Office, Altin Duman.
We welcome the KLP's condemnation of the direct and indirect attacks against SPAK in recent days and weeks. We will continue to stand by the overwhelming majority of Albanian citizens who support the new justice institutions and the key role they play in Albania's democracy.
The US stands by law-abiding legal professionals and will support all those who seek to end impunity ,' the US embassy wrote in a statement on social networks.
