DP Chairman Sali Berisha says he will lead the DP in the upcoming elections, but if the political force he leads wins, there will also be a vote for prime minister.

According to Sali Berisha, it will be the Albanians who will decide who will be the Prime Minister of Albania.

Asked about the rumors circulating that Sali Berisha will run in the elections, but will not become prime minister himself, he replied: They are dreaming with their eyes wide open.

" No one should have the slightest illusion that I lead my political force as the next Prime Minister of Albania. But within the framework of the new re-establishment processes, I have come up with the thesis and promise that in the event of a victory for the DP there will be one vote for the Prime Minister. The one who the Albanians want will get it."

I am of the opinion that you vote for the party, but before the party can choose the prime minister, there must be a competition.
