Poems memorized harm your child, Lira Gjika explains why this happens
Memorized poems hurt your child

The child's mind has an unimaginable energy, which makes possible the "journey" to the future, from a certain level to a more advanced level. The use of poems as a language practice, at the age of 0-6, destroys precisely the mechanisms that encourage the child to find and articulate his word.

The child sees and hears the adult how he articulates and when he uses a certain word and through his thought, memory and courage, he exercises every day, every hour, every minute to articulate in words what he himself thinks. And this is not an easy job at all, because it is about the future and being an adult. The future is an individual discovery and experience. It should not be a ready-made experience of someone else, but a step-by-step achievement of the child himself.

The words of the adult should be as a scale to achieve the words and thoughts of the child, not to recite the words of the adult and the poem is exactly a ready experience and concretization of someone else and for more adult. The adult organizes and expresses things with complete mechanisms and when used by heart they suppress and do not allow the development of the child's own speech.
