Lewis Capaldi

Last year, singer Lewis Capaldi revealed that he suffers from Tourette syndrome.

It is a neurological disorder that causes tics, as well as anxiety attacks, depression and nervous breakdowns.

He wanted to share this with all his followers because it was important to him. He knew that at some point he would experience one of these attacks during a live performance and preferred to avoid any kind of speculation. During that time he said:

" I'm already an anxious person. I wanted to talk about it because I didn't want people to think I was on cocaine or something. My shoulder shakes when I'm excited, happy, nervous or stressed. It's something I I'm living. It's not as bad as it seems . "

One of the most anticipated moments of the year had arrived. The artist performed at the Glastonbury festival last Sunday, June 25. His song "Someone You Loved" is one of his most popular and while he was performing it, he had one of these attacks.

Instead of being silent or judging him, the audience took it on. Capaldi could barely sing, but his fans stepped up to replace him, creating one of the most emotional videos of recent times. A few weeks ago, just before this festival, which seemed to mean a lot to him, the singer decided it was time to rest. He noted that:

I need to take a moment to rest and recover, to be at my best and ready for Glastonbury and all the other incredible shows to come, so that I can continue to do what I love for a long time. I need to take these three weeks off to be Lewis from Glasgow for a bit, spend some time with my family and friends and do the normal things in life that are an important part of me feeling better. I hope everyone understands .
