This morning, singer Shpat Kasapi passed away due to cardiac arrest, leaving behind sadness for his family and everyone who knew him.

Just a few months ago, the media reported that Shpati and Selvija had gone through difficult moments in their relationship, which seem to have been overcome.

In a post on social media, Selvija then confirmed not only the separation, but also the difficult moments they had gone through in this marriage.

 "Last days in Tirana... I'm finally leaving, but my heart will always hold a piece of this city. In every corner of it I have left parts of my soul... a woman who fought, laughed, fell and got up for herself and her son... Tirana will never be the same without me, and neither will I without her," she wrote alongside a photo.

At the time, there was talk that the couple had had numerous problems after moving to Tirana. 

The pair met while Selvija was doing makeup for Shpatin and the girls who were chosen to perform in his music video.

"We are adapted by nature, as friends. We have talked well, we have understood each other in many circumstances and I think the closeness has a big impact, then meeting and getting to know the family. It's a little emotional as a girl, but what she says, she says for the good," Shpati described his wife.

But it seems that things had been fixed in their relationship, as about a month ago she wrote on social media:

"I have never spoken publicly about breaking up with Shpat, but I see that people have crossed every line that I can tolerate. Shpat and I have been separated for more than 6 months. Everything we do is only for Roel and his well-being. We no longer plan to be a couple, as painful as it may sound, maybe this is the right decision for us," Selvija wrote.

 She emphasized that there is no longer any conflict between them; on the contrary, their relationship is based on respect and understanding, as they remain eternally bound by the child they have together.

"I respect Shpatin to the fullest and for me he will remain the closest person in my life, because we have shared a piece of bread and have a child together. We are good friends and we try not to hurt anyone."

This is also understood from the sad message that Selvia gave today after Shpati lost his life from a heart attack while in Italy.

Selvija explains that she was with Shpat in her final moments.

They were preparing the documents for the boy, who Selvia says should go to a good speech therapist.

"You didn't expect to hear him call you 'dad,'" she writes.

You changed lives in my arms, oh life...

How happy we were that Roel was finally getting his documents done in Italy, so that we could get him to the best speech therapists as soon as possible. How tired we are, how stressed we are… and no one knows!

How close we have been, how collaborative in our privacy, enjoying Roel's growth and development. You didn't expect to hear him call you "daddy"... you didn't expect, Shpat. You got tired and left us here alone, without you.

Leave Roel an orphan, O Shpat…

At a time when your hands were needed more than ever.

How do I explain to Roel that dad is no more?

You always told me that you would love me until death do us part... but why did you leave life in my arms, why did you break my heart like this, oh life?
