Rapper Jay-Z has been accused of raping a 13-year-old girl after the MTV Video Music Awards. According to the charges, the incident took place in 2000 and he is suspected of raping the girl along with Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The complainant, who has been identified as "Jane Doe," said the rape occurred at a party.
According to NBC News, Doe claims she was taken to the VMAs at Radio City Music Hall by a friend, but did not have a ticket and approached various limousine drivers to try to get into the show or the after-party.
A driver allegedly told Doe he worked for Combs and picked her up. After 20 minutes she was dropped off at a white house and forced to sign a document she believed was a non-disclosure agreement, according to the lawsuit.
She claimed they offered her a drink that made her feel sleepy. Shortly after, the lawsuit states, Jay-Z and P Diddy entered the room, with the latter saying, "Are you ready to party!"
Doe claims Carter took off her clothes and raped her while Combs and a female celebrity, whom she did not identify, watched.
She stated that Combs also raped her while Carter and the famous woman were present.
After the attack, Doe claimed she grabbed her clothes and ran to the nearest gas station where she called her father. She is seeking unspecified damages.
