Accused of raping a 13-year-old girl, Jay-Z breaks his silence

Jay-Z, who was recently accused of raping a 12-year-old girl in 2000, along with rapper Diddy, has broken his silence for the first time.

He has denied the allegations and insists he is the victim of a 'blackmail attempt'.

He has expressed that his biggest fear right now is facing his children with this accusation.

The same one enjoys three children with the famous singer, Beyonce.

Jay-Z is particularly worried about Blue Ivy, 12. He fears she will face questions from her friends related to the lawsuit. The couple also have twins Rumi and Sir, seven.

"My only concern is with my family," Jay-Z said in a statement, the Daily Mail writes.

"My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at an age where her friends will probably see the news in the media and ask questions about these claims and explain the cruelty and greed of people."

Jay-Z, who was accused of assault at a party after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards, said his 'children should not have to endure' such accusations at their age.

“It is unfair to try to understand the inexplicable scale of the evildoers who aim to destroy families,” he said.

The accuser, who identifies herself as Jane Doe in legal documents reviewed by the Daily Mail, says she was attacked at a party after the awards show, which took place on September 7, 2000, at New York's Radio City Music Hall.

The lawsuit was originally filed in the Southern District of New York last October against Combs, with a refiling on Sunday identifying the rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter.
