The betrayal that shocked the internet/ She kissed her boss on Kiss-Cam, a month

Kristin Cabot, the woman who went viral after kissing her boss during a Coldplay concert, has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Andrew Cabot, less than a month after the scandal.

The couple had bought a $2.2 million luxury villa just five months before the incident, but now everything is falling apart and some close to them are simply saying: "karma."

"She doesn't seem like wife material," said Julia Cabot, Andrew's third ex-wife and one of the people who spoke out after the scandal.

Kristin, 52, an employee at a technology company, was caught on camera cuddling with her boss, Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer, during a romantic moment on "Kiss Cam," while her husband was on a business trip in Japan, oblivious to the viral scene that was taking place.

Julia Cabot, 63, and Andrew's ex-wife, did not mince words: "He is a classic 'Boston Brahmin' with a big ego and emotionally cold. More than feelings, I think his pride was hurt. Everyone wrote to me after the video with one word: karma."

Kristin and Andrew's divorce was filed on August 13 in New Hampshire, according to documents obtained by the Daily Mail. This is the third marriage for Andrew Cabot, CEO of rum company Privateer and scion of a wealthy Boston family.

Sources close to the couple say Kristin and Andrew showed no signs of separation just a month before the scandal.

"They were talking about their love. Now they're saying the marriage has been falling apart for months? It sounds like an excuse," a source told the Mail.

Kristin and Andrew Cabot have not commented publicly on the incident. But one thing is clear: not every public kiss is worth the price that comes with it.
