Water is the basic substance for the life of all living things on the planet and every year a large amount of this colorless and odorless liquid is consumed by God.

The Worldometer website is for many statistics that are tracked from moment to moment. From the number of people on the planet, to estimating how many days we have left of oil extraction, this site has it all "covered".

The section on water attracts special attention, considering how important this substance is. This section has three points, which are: how much water was used this year, how many people died from water-related diseases, and how many people do not have access to drinking water.

As for water consumption, the figure changes every second in hundreds of liters, but this year approximately 2.148 billion liters have been used. By comparison, there are currently 1260 quintillion liters of water in the world, or 1,260,000,000,000,000,000,000 liters.

As for the number of people who do not have access to fresh drinking water, this number is 772 billion people. In other words, it is nine percent of the population on planet Earth.

In the end, this year 395 thousand people died from diseases transmitted or caused by water.
