This Monday, at 1:27 p.m. (9:27 p.m. in Albania), the sky will begin to darken for millions of Americans who are in what is called the path of totality during the 2024 solar eclipse.

This is the first solar eclipse to be visible across North America in seven years, and the next one won't be visible in these areas until Aug. 23, 2044, according to NASA.

Americans have started preparing for this eclipse since September last year. And, now the apartments for rent in the cities where the eclipse will be able to be seen in full and the weather conditions will be favorable are almost fully booked.

Meanwhile, for those who live in countries or continents that have nothing to do with this year's eclipse, such as Albania, NASA will start the official broadcast of the solar eclipse from 19:00 to 22:00. Expert commentary and step-by-step views of the eclipse are expected in the background.

You can watch the footage on NASA's official YouTube channel.
