Former Director of Taxes Brisida Shehaj, made a strong statement yesterday in a television interview. She has explained that she is ready to become a mother even though she will probably not be able to have a partner by her side.

According to her, the important thing is that she has the support of her family and that it is more honest to make such a decision than to pretend as most do.

" It's the only wish I had. Every time I argued with my close friends, they said "you are very accomplished, you have it all", I said "sometimes God gives you what you do not want". I have taken on the decision to be a single mother, maybe in the near future and I will realize it.

Being a mother is beyond a relationship, it is a fortune that comes and does not come but I do not intend to deprive myself of the opportunity to become a mother, I hope it happens as soon as possible and become a mother.

Having someone by my side would be great but I am very lucky to have the support of family. I understand that there will be prejudiced trials and many unmarried mothers are offended, but that it is a personal decision that does not threaten anyone is more moral to make such a choice than to pretend as 80 percent of people who are seen as happy around.
