If you do not give us equal salaries worth more than 1 million dollars (950 thousand euros) each, then next season we will leave the 'red chairs'. This is the request that the jury of 'The Voice of Australia' has made to Channel Seven television, as a condition for being the new season again.

According to the Daily Mail, the trio of coaches consisting of Guy Sebastian, Keith Urban and Albanian Rita Ora, whose salaries are said to make up the bulk of the budget, are making this request on behalf of Jessica Mauboy, who is said to be winning less than her three colleagues.

"The four coaches are currently on very different pay terms and everyone, especially Guy Sebastian, thinks it is unfair and unacceptable," an insider told the magazine.

The Voice of Australia jury seems to have been inspired by the Friends cast, which in 2002 came together to ensure they were paid equally for the last two seasons of the series.
