Actor Laert Vasili , during a story told yesterday evening, shocked residents and the public as he revealed that at the age of 9 he had been sexually abused by his neighbor in Tirana.

He said he didn't dare tell because he was threatened with rape, so he revealed the story for the first time yesterday evening.

" At the age of 9, something happened that I will never forget for the rest of my life. A nine-year-old child was being abused by his neighbor."

And this has been inside me for 42 years. I didn't show that I was threatened with rape. I kept this to myself.

When we moved to Saranda, I was very happy, I was leaving Tirana.

I idolized Tinka Kurti. I wasn't a good guy, I had an alcohol addiction for a long time.

I hope my father forgives me, I couldn't make him a grandfather. My mother was a strength when my father passed away.

"This is my Big, towards forgiveness, to make Laertes a man ," the actor said in part of his confession.
