After the success of the "Big Brother Vip" format on Top Channel, another television was christened with the patent of this format by Endemol.

According to the regulation, this format can not be bought by two televisions within a country and up to this point Top Channel was a monopoly receiving thousands of euros from sponsoring companies from Albania and Kosovo.

For this year, Top Channel had planned for "Big Brother Vip" to start in December, due to the pregnancy of the moderator Arbana Osmani.
