Dua Lipa has ended her collaboration with her agent, David Levy, following a controversy involving the controversial Irish group "Kneecap".

According to The Mail on Sunday, Levy was the first signatory to a letter sent to Glastonbury festival founder Michael Eavis and his daughter Emily, demanding that the band not be allowed to perform, arguing that they incite anti-Semitism and support organisations such as Hezbollah.

The letter, which was marked "private and confidential," was published in the media, causing reactions in the music industry.

A source close to the singer told the British newspaper: "Dua made sure that, through her staff, David Levy was no longer involved in her musical projects. She has been openly pro-Palestine and this does not align with David's position. She sees him as a supporter of Israel's war in Gaza and the mistreatment of Palestinians."

Lipa remains part of the same agency, William Morris Endeavor, but is now represented by a different agent within the company.

The 30-year-old Albanian, engaged to actor Callum Turner, has long spoken out in support of the Palestinian cause.

In May 2024, she described the Israeli offensive in Gaza on Instagram as "genocide" and joined artists denouncing "Britain's involvement in this conflict."

However, she has also condemned Hamas' actions, stressing: "I regret every Israeli life lost and what happened on October 7."
