It's not a teenage fantasy, but reality: the former Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, has been seen having dinner with pop superstar Katy Perry in one of Montreal's most luxurious restaurants.

According to TMZ, the pair were photographed on Monday night at "Le Violon", a restaurant ranked as the 11th best in Canada and recommended by the prestigious Michelin guide. In one of the photos, Perry is seen smiling next to Trudeau as the two share dishes — including one with lobster — and consume cocktails.

It is not yet known if it is a friendly meeting or something more, but there has been no lack of media attention.

Katy Perry is in Canada for a series of concerts, with the next stop in Montreal on Wednesday. On the other hand, Trudeau has been single since August 2023, when he announced his separation from wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau after 18 years of marriage. Even Perry recently confirmed his split from actor Orlando Bloom.
