Makeup artist Klea Rama, who transformed Parashqevi Simaku, in an interview for "Albania Live" on Top Channel, recounted the conversation she had with the Albanian artist.
She revealed that Parsshqevië really liked her 'look', while adding that the singer spoke with great nostalgia about her artistic past.
"Everything happened very spontaneously. I received an invitation from Elton Ilirjani, who was accompanied by Elvira. The emotion was very unique. Making up the diva of Albanian music was a double emotion for me. Not only was I working, but I had the pleasure of hearing her in a different 'live' performance. It was something very special and conveyed very positive energy to me, she was a lady who conveyed a lot of positivity. She spoke Albanian, as she was most fortunate. She spoke both Albanian and English.
I know as much as the public knows. Parashqevia spoke very nostalgically about her artistic past. As soon as she found out that I was from Shkodra, she started mentioning famous names in the art world in Shkodra. Beyond that, I talked more about my work. Her answer was... the idea is to recreate the 'look' she had. She was very pleased, almost in tears. It seemed to her as if the old Parashqevia had returned. ", said Klea Rama.
