The Tirana Court has found Egla Cenon guilty of defamation of Saimir Kodra's name.

In a statement this evening on "Goca dhe Gra" on Top Channel, Egla Ceno stated that she does not comment on the Court's decision and that she will wait for the decision to be made public.

She further added that she will appeal and pursue this matter through all legal steps, as according to her, she stands by the statement she made on "Big Brother", when she said she was sexually harassed at work by Kodra.

"I do not undertake to speak about the court's decision, it has not yet been made public. The lawyer called me, I was not present at the hearing myself, the lawyer told me that I am being sentenced as guilty and I am forced to write a refutation in a media outlet, this is the sentence that the lawyer told me was made. The decision has not been made public, it is not known on what grounds," she said.

"I am glad that this cause is in everyone's attention, because this is the purpose of this cause. I have a video on Instagram where I spoke the last word in the session, and that video is literally my last word, I have no comma to add or remove. I will not retreat, I will continue this battle with legal means, and I would use the two lives I had to continue this battle," Ceno said.

"I feel very good that this is being talked about publicly, it needs to be talked about. People who know how to read between the lines and who respect my figure or this cause, should be careful how they approach it. This is an issue that requires patience and I have all the patience in the world to move it forward," the actress said.

"I made a personal statement about a high social cause, I did not express myself unintentionally or in super emotions," said Ceno.

"I will appeal, I will see it through to the end, now more than ever. I wish I had done it sooner, but there is no set time for that."

"I said it on Big Brother because the conditions weren't right to talk about it before, it didn't appeal to my brain. The context I was in, the context I came out in, was in the context of an organized conversation with letters, where this topic was discussed, and I brought my experience," said Egla.

"I have nothing to do with the gentleman in question, I have not spoken to him nor met him after the statement. What I have to say will be discussed within the relevant institutions ," she said.
