Luna Methasani is the girl we already know as an undefeated warrior. The daughter of journalist Dëfrim Methasani managed to win over cancer, a happy news for everyone. But Luna didn't come for herself in "There's a Message for You".

Her motive is her father, towards whom she has always felt the responsibility to, being the eldest daughter, inherit something from him, in this case the passion for sports. When Luna was only 3 months old, her parents moved from Peshkopia to Tirana and life was not so easy.

From the stories that she has heard and shared for the first time with the "Albanian Sunday" column, coming to Tirana confronted Dëfrim Methasan with prejudices about her background, with difficult economic conditions and taking other jobs that were not related to his profession alone to provide the family with everything they needed.

Luna Methasani : My father, when he started his career at Albanian Radio and Television, he was often bullied, he was called a "malok", "this malok came from the north to take our place here". He even told me that he wrote the first chronicles on the sidewalk in front of the Albanian Radio Television because they did not think him, not because of his professional ability, but only because he came from the north, they did not think he was worthy enough to be there and competing with well-known names of television.

Ardit Gjebrea: Do you know how things are? I think that one's abilities appear from the first moment for those who understand so that your father being a super journalist, it would not take time and so all those who had problems let's say with his background, I have the impression that the problems were in their mindset because daddy we know who your daddy is.

Luna Methasani: Yes, thanks to his extraordinary work he has actually made a place for himself everywhere and he is very modest, Ardit.

Ardit Gjebrea: Where did you live when you came to Tirana?

Luna Methasani: In fact, we did not move directly to Tirana, but to a village in Tirana, in Peza where due to the economic conditions that were then and the fact that my parents together with my grandparents, but also my aunt and uncle who were not married at that time , are transferred there due to economic conditions. It was very difficult and dad had to make his way from Peza to Albanian Radio Television by bicycle.

Ardit Gjebrea: Every day?

Luna Methasani : Every day. What hurts me the most about dad is the fact that he is forced to work 2-3 different jobs. So in addition to the very big name he can make as a journalist, despite the fact that in his beginnings he will maintain his figure as a journalist, he has never hesitated to do simple work. He also worked as a night watchman, he also worked as a cameraman at weddings just to provide all the economic conditions for the family.
