Rapper Bardhi told about Sara during the night the experiences during the war in 2001.

Bardhi, an Albanian from Macedonia, tells how they took shelter in their uncle's house in the village of Sllupçan, where they stayed for a month in a basement with 30 people, while grants were given.

According to him, it was a miracle that they survived. In another case, he tells when family members heard the name of his mother on the radio, who had died along with the two children. This was quite serious news for the family members who, over time, realized that it was about another woman with the same name and not Bardhi's mother.

" The village where the war in Macedonia started in our area on May 2 in 2001, we went to my uncles on May 1 and after two days the war started in that village, Sllupçan. That village has fought a lot and has many martyrs. We stayed in a basement of 30 people. The house was shelled while we were staying and God saved us. At that time, my mother taught me poetry, writing, reading, and 24 poems in a month so as not to scare us. We continued as refugees in Kosovo, in Presheva, throughout the war. It was an interesting case, when I remember the moments of the war, I have them all in my brain and I have them as pictures. When the helicopters passed, I was 3 and a half years old. A news was broadcast on the radio announcing the death of my mother with two children, me and my sister. A woman with the same name who had two children in that village died there. The family went crazy, there were no telephones then. Then they talked to dad. Dad wasn't there and until they understood the news, they didn't do anything because they weren't sure, because he only had his first name, not his last name ," said Bardhi.
