Known for extreme cosmetic procedures, the 'cat woman' passes away

Known by the nickname Catwoman, "the cat woman", due to her numerous plastic surgeries, Jocelyn Wildenstein passed away on New Year's Eve (December 31) at the age of 84.

The news of the 84-year-old's death was announced by her partner Lloyd Klein, saying that she closed her eyes forever from a pulmonary embolism.

Wildenstein often denied cosmetic surgery, saying that the "cat-shaped eyes" she was so famous for were genetic or that her hairstyle altered her appearance.

Her eyes were drawn more and more towards her cheeks to resemble felines, her skin was taut and her cheekbones were always very high.

In addition to her physical transformation, Wildenstein was also known for her lavish lifestyle and obsession with animals, especially African tigers. She had created a bulletproof cage for tigers in her 200-unit mansion, where she spent an estimated $1 million a month.
