A series of videos shared on TikTok show what happened to Adriano and what the footballer who was once considered the star of the Italian team Inter and the Brazilian national team is doing today.

And it's really shocking to see it that way. He appears barefoot on the street. Then lying on the pavement. He rises unsteadily from a plastic chair. In his right hand there is a glass of beer and a cigarette between his fingers, in the other a smartphone connected to a makeshift socket.

He laughs, tries a few jumping steps on the worn, patched asphalt, mutters something, not noticing that the electronic device slides on the asphalt. And he laughs again, a lot.

His attitude shows a not-so-good state, the former Inter and Brazil striker is apparently happy, relaxed, calm on the streets of the favelas where he returned. Number 9 on the back, talent, shooting power, physique; he had everything from fame to millions.

And he would have gathered even more fame and glory if he had kept his head straight, as the saying goes. He was called an emperor, but of the glories of the time in which he made the world tremble with his playing, very little remains of the kingdom.

In another sequence, Adriano is holding several stones very similar to dominoes. He is playing on a board set in a barrel. Those around him make fun of him, provoke him to finally make his move. He plays along and participates attentively, following the sequence and evolution of the game. A discussion begins with both the opponent and the interlocutor, but the tone is friendly. Then he realizes that he has won and goes to hug a friend who is nearby.

There is no scene change, the background is always the same a narrow sidewalk, a wall to lean on, plastic cups full of drinks placed on the ground, a group of friends, acquaintances gathered to joke, simple clothes. Black shorts below the waist, a T-shirt with short sleeves of the same color that somewhat disguises the volume of the stomach.

After all, maybe this is the life he enjoys the most.
