Cassie Ventura, the singer known as “Cassie,” testified in the sex trafficking trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, recounting shocking abuse. She said her ex-partner forced her to have sex during her menstrual cycle and to participate in “Freak Offs” — sex acts with other people that Diddy often filmed.
“I was on my period and I was still being asked to have sex,” Cassie told the jury on May 13. “Nobody wants to do that.”
Cassie, currently pregnant and married to personal trainer Alex Fine, revealed that she was often forced to accept acts of degradation out of fear. "They would urinate on my body. Sometimes Diddy, sometimes the escorts he brought. He would urinate in my mouth. Not always, but quite often," she testified, adding that she would often choke on the large amounts of urine.
When the prosecutor asked her if she accepted this act, Cassie replied: "No. But there was no conversation. It was something that was bothering her, so it happened."
After these acts, the singer said she was left alone to clean the hotel rooms, covered in blood and urine.
During the first day of the trial on May 12, the jury saw footage of Diddy beating Cassie in a hotel in 2016. The prosecution described him as the "mastermind" of a criminal network that involved drugging and sex trafficking women.
Meanwhile, Diddy's defense attorney, Teny Geragos, stated that the relationship was consensual and that Cassie had been with him for more than a decade.
Diddy faces life in prison if convicted on all charges. Since his arrest in September 2024, he has been in custody in Brooklyn.
