Fantastic news comes today from France, where internationally renowned French choreographer and artist of Albanian origin, Angjelin Preljocaj, is officially accepted as a member of the French Academy of Fine Arts.

The news was announced by the Albanian embassy in France.

"Today is an extraordinary day for the world-famous French choreographer and artist of Albanian origin, Angjelin Preljocaj, who will be officially accepted as a member of the French Academy of Fine Arts. This is also a moment of great pride for Albania and Albanian culture."

Follow the special ceremony live on the link below, which will take place on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, starting at 3:00 PM, under the magnificent, prestigious and historic Dome of the Institut de France. At the end of the session, Angjelin Preljocaj will be presented with the Academician's Sword, specially created for him by Constance Guisset, a renowned French artist and designer with international fame," the announcement states.
