Sharon Stone wants 2024 to be her year of love and meeting the man of her life.
"I would be absolutely thrilled if I had a relationship... I just spend a lot of my time painting," the Golden Globe-winning actress told The Times of London in an interview published Friday.
Stone, who became an icon of the '90s thanks to her roles in films such as "Casino" and "Basic Instinct," said she has tried online dating, but to no avail.
She said she had come into contact with one who was a convicted felon and another who was addicted to heroin.
The actress has been clear that she is looking for a meaningful relationship and a 'hookup', saying: 'I didn't want to get on Tinder just to meet someone. Do you know what I mean? It's so easy to run into someone. You don't have to go on Tinder; you go to coffee. It's not hard."
In 1984, Stone married producer Michael Greenburg, but the couple separated three years later. Her second marriage, to journalist Phil Bronstein, lasted from 1998 to 2004.
In a 2018 interview with Grazia magazine, Stone said she has high expectations of the men in her life.
