The murder that shocked the Albanians/ The brother of one of the arrested

The number of those arrested in connection with the murder of Liridona Murseli went to 3 on Friday evening. After the arrest of her husband Naim Murseli as the mastermind of the crime and Granit Plava, as the executor, Kushtrim Kokalla was also arrested.

The latter is a member of the KSF and grandson of Naim Murseli. Kokalla is suspected of collaborating with Mursel and the executioner.

Regarding his arrest, Kushtrim's brother, Kanon Kokalla, who is an officer of the Kosovo Police, reacted.

"We are shocked! But I can guarantee one thing, that my brother was at home on the critical night. I don't know anything else", said Kokolla to the media in Kosovo.

According to him, Kushtrimi was very close to the victim. He further said that everyone is shocked.

" I can't believe it! " He was very close to him (Liridona). That we are very closely related. We grew up together with Liridona!".

" I have no information now [he speaks about Liridona's family]. Three families we are extremely bad. Shocked. Like Liridona's family, like Naim's parents, like us, we are completely shocked. It seems like a dream to us and we can't believe it. Except if you go crazy, because there is no reason why someone did that thing to me ", said Kanon Kokolla.

In relation to the case, the Kosovo police have announced that a pistol with 19 bullets and a car that were used in the crime were found and confiscated.

Liridona Murseli was killed on Wednesday night, while she was traveling with her husband and children towards her home in Pristina.
