Carolina Munoz

A professional skydiver has plunged to her death in Brazil after two parachutes failed to open.

Carolina Munoz, 40, died after crashing on Boituva Street, a city southeast of Sao Paulo.

Munoz from Santiago, Chile was taken to the hospital, from where it was determined that he did not survive the injuries received from the impact on the ground.


An amateur video shows the moment of the fall and while it was falling to the ground in a spiral shape it behaved as if it were in the air.

Munoz worked as a psychotherapist and had lived in Brazil for more than five years.

She had been skydiving since 2013 with the Paratroopers Association of Brazil.
