Hamas says it will hand over another body of an Israeli hostage on Monday, as US President Donald Trump's 48-hour deadline approaches.
"Within the framework of the Al-Aqsa Flood prisoner exchange agreement, the Izz El-Din Al-Qassam Martyrs Brigades will hand over the body of one of the occupation prisoners, who was found today in the Gaza Strip, at 9:00 pm Gaza time," Hamas announced in a statement.
Meanwhile, just hours before the deadline set by US President Donald Trump expires, the Saudi-owned Al-Sharq channel reported on Monday afternoon that Hamas has informed mediators that it is "preparing to find between seven and nine bodies."
According to the report, which cited a source close to the search process, Hamas has found the remains of seven to nine hostages buried under rubble in several areas throughout the Gaza Strip.
