A new sign appeared in the European Union and soon we can see it on our roads.
Among the most common signs are those dealing with speed limits, "STOP" signs, no parking, and special instructions for school and pedestrian areas.
To address this issue, a municipality in Spain has introduced a new signage called "Kiss and Goodbye".
This sign allows parents to stop briefly, without full parking, in order to drop their children off at school. With a rather impressive design, the main purpose of this sign is to reduce the two lines of cars and promote a more orderly behavior among parents taking their children to school.
However, the measure has caused controversy among parents and residents. One of the main concerns is the limited "vehicular capacity" of these rapid stop zones, which may not be sufficient to alleviate the traffic problem, transferring congestion to adjacent roads and creating new traffic jams.
