NATO forces in Kosovo

Today, the Italian battalion from NATO's Operational Reserve Force is deployed in Kosovo.

This commitment comes as part of the peacekeeping mission led by NATO KFOR.

"On December 5, 2023, the Italian battalion from the NATO Operational Reserve Force has been deployed in Kosovo, as part of the peacekeeping mission led by NATO KFOR. "KFOR continues to fulfill its UN mandate to ensure a safe and secure environment for all communities in Kosovo," the announcement states.

We remind you that some countries have increased their presence of soldiers in Kosovo due to the developments in the North, especially after the attack in Banjska where the policeman Afrim Bunjaku was killed.
