Calls for an end to the war in Gaza have begun to echo louder in Israel.
The protest took place during the Women's March, calling on the Israeli government to release the 100 hostages being held in the Gaza Strip.
The women's march was one of the biggest signs of dissatisfaction with the government regarding the war in Gaza.
"We are almost in the fourth month of fighting. We have killed many people. We have killed 25 thousand people and they know that only 20-30 percent of them belong to Hamas. It is serious, the hostages are not returned and the Israeli society is being harmed, the Palestinians are being harmed", said the protester Sigal Kook Avivi.
Many of the protesters have said that the military campaign is not working.
"The military solution is not working. It hasn't worked since '48. As people we must stand up and say the things that are seen. Fighting is taking place, but there will be no agreement, there will be no solution", said the protester Safir Amran.
Hamas militants during the attack on Israel took 250 hostages.
More than 100 of them were released during the November ceasefire. However, another 110 are believed to be in some areas of Gaza. Israel suspects that 25 of them have died.
In December, the Israeli army accidentally killed three hostages who had escaped from the Hamas base.
The US and Egypt have said they are working to reach a new ceasefire for the release of the remaining hostages.
