Police in Montenegro raid properties of former president Milo Djukanovic's

Montenegrin police have conducted a search operation in the center of Podgorica, raiding the properties of businessman Aco Djukanovic, brother of former president Milo Djukanovic.

Numerous police forces have surrounded a building in the heart of the capital, where Aco Djukanovic is reported to reside. The same building also houses a branch of "Prva Banka", a financial institution owned by him.

According to local media, inspectors are expected to conduct detailed checks on properties linked to Djukanovic, as part of investigations that have not yet been made public by the authorities.

Meanwhile, the Montenegrin Center for Investigative Journalism reported in September 2023 that Aco Djukanovic had moved to Luxembourg immediately after the 2020 parliamentary elections, where he had launched new projects in the business field.
