Police in Greece burn over 1 ton of narcotics

The Greek police have burned over a ton of narcotics, which they have also made public. Greek media report that the burning of the narcotic substance was done in separate premises. 221 packets of narcotics were burned.

It is about narcotics, which were seized by the Prosecution Sub-Directorate for Narcotics at the Directorate of Organized Crime as well as by other Security Services.

Specifically, they were destroyed and burned:

-396 kilograms and 448 grams of cocaine,

-3 kilograms and 302 grams of heroin,

-585 kilograms and 49.7 grams of raw cannabis,

-32 kilograms and 294.5 grams of processed cannabis,

-37 kilograms and 135.4 grams of methamphetamine,

-2,330 cannabis seedlings and

-474.2 grams of MDMA.

"The destruction was carried out according to the established procedure and in a suitable place, while this action is part of the ongoing efforts to fight drug trafficking in order to protect public health and increase the sense of security of citizens", the press release states. of the Greek police.
