More than 100 people were killed in a drone strike on the Homs Military Academy in central Syria.
Of these, 90 are newly graduated officers and 10 are civilians, including 5 women.
The news was reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an NGO based in London.
Over 125 people were injured, some of them in a serious condition. Among those present at the ceremony was the Syrian Minister of Defense.
According to Al-Ikhbariya channel, the attack happened during the graduation ceremony for the official cadets of the Academy. Local sources say that the explosion was felt in several neighborhoods of the city.
Syrian state television called it a "terrorist attack" on its Telegram channel, but so far no one has claimed responsibility for the attack. The Syrian government confirmed the attack, but did not give a death toll.
