An erotic scandal has erupted in Brazil after a man caught his wife red-handed with the priest he had entrusted with marriage counseling and free entry to their home.

According to Brazilian media outlet Repórter MT, the woman, employed as an assistant at the church, was discovered by her husband and father-in-law inside the priest's apartment.

The incident allegedly took place in the bathroom, where she was found wearing only an intimate garment, while the priest was wearing shorts.

The scandal took on even greater proportions after a video circulated on social media, where the man and his father confront the priest and insistently ask him to open the bedroom door.

The footage spread quickly, sparking strong reactions from internet users.

The case has sparked intense debates about faith, hypocrisy, and abuse of religious authority, while so far there has been no official reaction from the church or local authorities.
